GETTING AROUND

Train


The train journey from Brussels to Ghent Sint-Pieters is both fast and convenient. Trains run frequently, with most taking just 30 to 40 minutes to cover the distance between the two stations.

After arriving at Brussels airport (BRU), you will head do the underground part of the airport, where you will find the train station. You can buy a ticket for Zaventem Airport - Gent Sint-Pieters either at a local ticket machine (seats do not have to be reserved in advance) or online at the SNCB website.
On arrival in Gent Sint-Pieters, exit the station and find the tram stop Gent Sint-Pieters station in front of the train station. Take tram number 1 or 3, the ride takes 10 minutes, to the Vogelmarkt stop. Get off here and take the final walk to the hotel, which is about 5 minutes away. - adress Hoogpoort 63, Ghent


Bus


From the airport A shuttle bus runs about ten times back and forth between Brussels Airport and the Gent-Sint-Pieters Railway Station. There, you can take tram line 1 or 3 to the historic centre. The cost is €9,99 per person and per trip.



Taxi


It's a 55 minutes trip and will cost around €160-€170 depending on traffic. Bolt and Uber is also available in Belgium.


Parking


Onsite: €27,50 per 24 hours. The hotel is located in a car-free area (Hoogpoort) but our underground carpark is accessible for guests via the Onderstraat. Access to Hoogpoort is not permitted without a valid permit. Should you access this street without a permit an automatic fine of € 58 will be issued which cannot be annulled. Parking cannot be reserved in advance. Parking cannot be reserved in advance. EV charging stations available. There is also an offsite option in parking Vrijdagsmarkt which is 0,4 km from the hotel and costs €26 per 24 hours.
